I was after under floor insulation for my drafty old QLD (Anyone who has a QLDer will know what I’m talking about!) I compared the cost of foam with traditional batts and initially thought foam was a bit high. Someone told me that batts can sag and fall out, and sure enough when talking to some of the installers of batts, it was suggested to me to go over the batts with strapping or even ply wood. Add in the cost of ply and labour and suddenly foam is a stand out winner cost wise. The difference in temperature was immediate, with the added benefit of sound reduction. Very very happy with the install and the performance. There was some slight miss communication in the beginning, if not for that it would be a 5 star recommendation.
